Erfahren Sie mehr über 34th International Symposium on Chromatography Zurück Liverpool, England 06. - 10. Oktober 2024 34th International Symposium on Chromatography "The International Symposium on Chromatography (ISC) represents the oldest conference series focussing on separation science. ISC symposia have been organised since 1956 in each even year. ISC is internationally recognised as one of the premier meeting series for discussion of all modes of chromatography and separation science with a broad coverage of techniques and applications. The theme for the symposium is “ Imagine a world of Chromatography ” and the symposium programme will reflect this theme covering the many disciplines where chromatography is an essential component of the analytical workflow. This will include applications of separation science in pharmaceutical, petrochemical, environmental, food and health sectors, as well as lectures on the fundamentals aspects of separation science and new technological developments. The symposium will also highlight new challenges and emerging opportunities for both separation science and associated detection technologies. As an integral part of the scientific programme of lectures and poster sessions, an exhibition and vendor seminars on instrumentation and services for chromatography, separation science and mass spectrometry will be organised. ISC 2024 will provide the perfect forum for attendees from academia, industry and government research institutions for scientific exchange and networking. The world of chromatography offers many possibilities, and the symposium will allow imaginations to develop through the many lectures and networking opportunities. However, our symposium is not only about talks, posters, and exhibitions. It is about providing a friendly, welcoming environment that actively supports the next generation of separation scientists as well as the current one. The environment is one that fosters dialogue and face-to-face encounters not only in the symposium and exhibition halls, but also in the informal meetings and rich social program that is provided within a city that has a reputation for its vibrancy and culture. The conference venue is on the banks of Liverpool’s world heritage waterfront, gateway to one of the world’s most famous ports. It is part of Europe’s only purpose-built interconnected arena, convention and exhibition centre situated alongside on-site hotels. The ultra-modern surroundings will ensure maximum comfort and also fully integrated technology to ensure that no lecture is missed. It is truly an awe-inspiring place where the imagination can truly be allowed to have free reign. We are looking forward to welcoming you in 2024 to Liverpool and helping you Imagine a world of chromatography. Tony EdgeSymposium Chair"

  • GÖCH | Veranstaltungen | Balticum Organicum Syntheticum 2026

Erfahren Sie mehr über Balticum Organicum Syntheticum 2026 Zurück Tallin 28. Juni - 01. Juli 2026 Balticum Organicum Syntheticum 2026 "We are happy to welcome you all back to Tallinn, Estonia Save the date for next BOS conference: BOS 2026, June 28-July 1, 2026!" The Balticum Organicum Syntheticum (BOS) is an biennial organic chemistry conference that rotates through Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius, the three capitals of the Baltic States. The conference goals are: to convey the excitement of synthetic organic chemistry as practiced in industry and universities worldwide; to promote interactions between chemists of the Baltic States and other countries of the world to create links, collaborations, and common research projects in both, academic and industrial settings; showcase the historical significance, architecture, and beauty of the Baltic States. With the participation of many Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian chemists, you will also become aware of the history, culture, language, and social framework of the Baltic States. The first Baltic international conference on organic synthesis “Balticum Organicum Syntheticum” (BOS 2000) was held in Vilnius (Lithuania) in June of 2000. The vision of the inaugural organizer, late Professor Victor Snieckus, Queen’s University, Canada was that “The conference should follow several aims: to open a window to the West for the chemists of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania; to create conditions for discussions between the chemists of the Baltic and the West and also for scientific contacts and collaboration at the academic and industrial levels; to provide an original, linguistic, and social program for participants and their associates.” Two decades later, the scientific window to the West and the East is widely opened, but the excitement of discovering new secrets of Nature and of conveying it to colleagues worldwide remains. BOS organizer prof. Eugenijus Butkus Vilnius University, Lithuania: “If I was told nearly 20 years ago that the BOS conferences would become significant not only in the Baltics but internationally with nearly 10 Nobel laureates having participated, I would have said that this nice dream would never become a reality. Nowadays it has become true! The BOS conferences have inspired many young chemistry students, some of whom eventually became speakers at BOS and other international conferences!” The BOS conferences are comprised of plenary lectures by a distinguished roster of Baltic and international speakers, and poster sessions held in a congenial atmosphere to stimulate discussion. We aim for a balanced program of academic and industrial speakers presenting fundamental and practical aspects of organic synthesis. https://boschem.eu/
