Oktober 2023 Herbstschule für Kosmetik Einführung in die wissenschaftlichen & praktischen Grundlagen Die Arbeitsgruppe Lebensmittelchemie, Kosmetik & Gebrauchsgegenstände der Österreichischen Chemischen Gesellschaft veranstaltet im Hotel Panorama Royal in Bad Häring bei Kufstein in Tirol, Österreich einen Lehrgang über die wissenschaftlichen und praktischen Grundlagen der Kosmetik. Die Teilnehmer*innen sollen einen wissenschaftlich fundierten Überblick über das Fach der Kosmetologie, resp. Kosmetischen Chemie erhalten, der mit Inhalten der praktischen Umsetzung verknüpft wird, um dieses Wissen auch beruflich nutzen zu können. Angesprochen werden hier nicht nur Chemieingenieur*innen, Chemiker*innen mit Hochschulabschluss, Pharmazeut*innen, Apotheker*innen sondern auch im Kosmetikbereich Tätige zur Weiterqualifizierung. Nebst vielfältigem Nutzen können jedoch auch Risiken von ihnen ausgehen. Ein nachhaltiger und sorgsamer Umgang mit Chemikalien ist deshalb unverzichtbar. Für besonders problematische Chemikalien sollten möglichst substituiert werden. Die möglichen Alternativen müssen passend und sicher sein, gleichzeitig aber – ganz im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeitsziel des Green Deal – kosteneffizient, sowie ressourcen- und energieschonend. Im Rahmen des Chemischen Abendgespräches möchten wir eine Analyse zur Substitution von SVHC-Stoffen und möglichen Folgen für die Erreichung der Green-Deal- und Nachhaltigkeitsziele vorstellen und diskutieren. Die GÖCH-Arbeitsgruppe Lebensmittelchemie, Kosmetik und Gebrauchsgegenstände organisiert diese traditionsreiche Tagung als Präsenzveranstaltung. Die Tagung soll einen Überblick über die wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten auf dem gesamten Gebiet der Lebensmittelchemie geben und zeigen, wie weit verzweigt die Lebensmittelchemie in Österreich vertreten ist. Wir freuen uns auf zahlreiche TeilnehmerInnen und einen intensiven Austausch zu aktuellen Themen. Auf der Tagung wird auch der P.B. Czedik-Eysenberg Preis an junge WissenschaftlerInnen aus der GÖCH bis zum vollendeten 40. Lebensjahr vergeben.
