Puzzles of (Bio)molecular Structure and Dynamics:

NMR spectroscopy and complementary approaches

At the 23rd and 24th of May 2023 a symposium is held on the occasion of the opening the new Institute of Biochemistry at JKU with its head Prof. Frans A.A. Mulder. The symposium focusses at molecular structure, dynamics and function.

Fourteen renowned international scientists will present the application of structural and biophysical methods to biochemistry at the molecular level, encompassing NMR spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, molecular simulations, and complementary methods.

Central to the symposium is the quest for a quantitative description of biological phenomena at the molecular level.
